Studio Hooton is an interior design practice with studios in both Winchester, Hampshire and London, established for over 10 years with projects based across the south of England.

The design team are fully qualified and highly experienced in country house interiors with a range of skills to cover all aspects of your project from start to finish. From lighting and electrical design to final furniture and finishes, we are results-driven and passionate about excellent client service.

Gallery

This majestic study features traditional built in joinery with open shelving creating a library style book storage. Closed cupboard storage in a traditional panelled style. This traditional panelling follows onto the walls complimenting the dark marble fireplace. The walls are finished in a light blue and a darker blue features on the joinery. In the centre of the room, a dark wood modern desk with a black leather office chair. A marble and velvet green shaded table lamp sits on this desk. In front of the desk, a small round black footed coffee table sits along with neutral grey linen sofa, a deep blue armchair and patterned footstool. A blue striped rug grounds the furniture and contrasts against the light wood flooring.

This luxurious bedroom in neutral shades. The door to the right leads to the corridor with a window seat. In the room itself to the left of the door, an exposed wood bedside table in a traditional design. On the bedside table a large white base table lamp with a neutral beige shade. The headboard for the bed is wall mounted and goes across the full width of the back wall. Upholstered with button detailing in a light beige linen. A brass wall mounted reading light is also positioned on the headboard above the bed frame. On the bed, a green and white patterned lumbar cushion and beige throw compliment the white bed linen. Above the headboard, two small framed canvas artwork in a landscape layout.

A warm and cosy luxurious drawing room featuring deep tones and warm wood finishes. Two deep burgundy sofas with plenty of patterned cushions, a large wood rectangular coffee table featuring books sits between the sofas and mid century style accent chairs framing a formal layout. On the right hand side of the room, a grey stone fireplace surround with a brass square mirror hung on the wall above. Crittal style doors leading to outdoors beside the fireplace are dressed with floor length curtains on a black pole. Exposed wood beams on the ceiling add warmth with the wood door to the room on the right hand side. In the centre of the room, a burgundy fringe style pendant hangs. Along the back wall, two full height windows again dressed with the same curtains. Between the two windows, a neutral square piece of art hangs with a black and neutral floor lamp sat in front. In front of each of the windows on this wall, a large potted olive tree. On the floor, a large square jute rug sits beneath the living room furniture zoning and grounding the space. This sits on a light wood finish herringbone flooring.

This open plan barn features a modern design complimenting the original elements such as the exposed wood beams within the vaulted ceiling. Black crittall window doors either side of the living area create a light and bright space. The living area includes a neutral linen L shaped sofa dressed with plenty of green and mustard patterned cushions. A set of two patterned upholstered round footstools and a solid wood irregular shaped coffee table in front of the sofa. A vase of foliage and books style the coffee table. A wood and boucle accent chair to the left of the cage sits beside a wall featuring the framed fireplace and wall mounted TV. Behind the living area, a large dining area with a tall cabinet to the left. A patterned rug beneath the dining table helps to zone the space along with a large rug within the living area. Above the dining table, a set of two ceramic cone shaped pendants hang centrally.

This is a cosy nook within a warm room. Along the far wall, a built in sofa area is situated below a window looking out onto the countryside. The sofa is upholstered in a dark fabric and dressed with patterned brown and grey cushions. The window is dressed with a neutral linen roman blind. Traditional paneling on the walls are finished two toned with a duck egg blue on the bottom section and light brown shade on the top section. In front of the sofa section, a light brown linen upholstered round footstool. The left side of the room has a warm wood built in joinery open shelving styled with books, pots, vases and ornamental pieces. An armed iron and white linen wall light sits on the wall beside the sofa section.
