The Top Vegan Fabric Suppliers

When it comes to finding fabrics read our recommendations for the top vegan suppliers offering alternatives to wool, silk and fur.

There are many stunning alternatives to wool, silk and fur that look and feel just like the real thing.

Banana silk is made from fibres found in the stem of the banana plant and looks every bit as luxurious as silk. Natural materials such as linens, bamboo, organic cotton and hemp also look great and tick the vegan box.

Vegan fabrics are readily available in stunning prints and designs. If you’re unsure of a fabric’s vegan creds, look for the Soil Association and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) logos and ask plenty of questions – retailers and suppliers should be transparent about their sourcing and manufacturing.

Pret a Vivre

We love linen because of its versatility and the way it drapes so beautifully – it gives an added lift to interiors. Pret a Vivre have a huge selection of cottons and linens, including our favourite, the stone-washed heavyweight linen which works in both modern and traditional homes.  Hemp is also a lovely vegan friendly texture which hangs beautifully – Pret a Vivre also do some lovely natural hemp and linen mixed fabrics which are worth checking out too.
